Solomon Iron Ore Project: Level 2 Flora and Vegetation, Level 2 Vertebrate Fauna and Level 2 SRE Invertebrate Fauna Surveys
ecologia was engaged by Fortescue Metals Group to conduct baseline biological surveys, including two-phase Level 2 (detailed) flora and vegetation, Level 2 vertebrate fauna and Level 2 SRE invertebrate fauna surveys and impact assessments to support State (EP Act) and commonwealth (EPBC Act) environmental approvals for the expansion of the Solomon Hub Iron Ore Project in the Pilbara Region of WA. The survey area covered 183,201 ha and is located approximately 40 km north of Tom Price in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
