Great Southern Highway, Katanning: Flora, Vegetation and Black Cockatoo Assessment

ecologia was commissioned to conduct a Reconnaissance Flora and Vegetation Survey, with a targeted conservation significant flora survey and a Black Cockatoo tree habitat assessment for Main Roads of the road reserve of the Great Southern Highway between Katanning and Cranbrook in the Great Southern region of Western Australia

The survey methodology was required to be consistent with State guidelines, Technical Guides and Commonwealth survey guidelines including EPA Flora Technical Guidance for Flora and vegetation Surveys (2016) and the EPBC Act Referral Guidelines for Three Threatened Black Cockatoo Species (DSEWPaC 2012). A Reconnaissance flora and vegetation survey was also completed, with targeted searches for conservation significant flora.
