Florida North Development: Western Ringtail Possum and Quenda Survey
ecologia was engaged to conduct a Western Ringtail Possum (WRP) survey, including identification and mapping of the locations of any WRP dreys in tree canopies recorded, along with an estimate of the size of any WRP population present to support to support Structure Plan approval for the Florida North residential development in Dawesville. The survey focussed on Tuart (Eucalyptus gomphocephala) trees in the western portion of the study area. In addition, a Level 1 survey for Quenda was undertaken simultaneously within potentially suitable habitat.
