Double Magic Nickel Project: Flora and Fauna Assessment

ecologia was commissioned by Buxton Resources to conduct a Level 1 vertebrate fauna and single-phase detailed flora and vegetation assessment of the Double Magic Project, in the West Kimberley region of WA. The project targeted nickel-copper prospects on tenements approximately 100 km north-east of Derby in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. The Merlin Prospect is the primary exploration focus at Double Magic and Buxton Resources required ecologia to undertake an assessment of the flora, vegetation and fauna to facilitate the identification of any significant environmental issues to guide effective environmental management and to support environmental approvals for the development of the project.
